Art, in many forms, has always been a big part of my life, painting, writing stories and poems and taking pictures.
I wanted to study art but my love for English and photography led to a successful career in media relations which took me around the world.
In my late 30’s, an emergency appendectomy caused me to reassess life. Watching a documentary while recuperating inspired me to take a career break to volunteer on a remote desert Island in Fiji, a decision which changed my life and led to me living in Hawaii.
This idyllic paradise of colour, fire, sea and sky brought me back to my love of art which I explored through workshops, study, mentoring and doing!
I now live by the sea in glorious Devon in the UK.
I am a photographer and abstract artist and use fluid and texturing materials to create paintings that reflect my wanderlust and my love of colour, the sea and countryside around me.
